The Best Summer Day

Unison family fun song of Christmas in Australia

Primary school choirs and piano

Text: Rosie Glow and Becky Llewellyn

The Best Summer Day is a new Australian children’s carol, celebrating the fun of Christmas in the summertime. It is from a set of Mother Christmas Songs, a story about a magic trip to Santa’s workshop for two lucky Australian children made in collaboration with words by Rosie Glow.

In The Best Summer Day, Becky has written a song for Christmas that celebrates the southern hemisphere experience of Christmas with families, Santa snowmen and snow only sprayed onto trees.

Written in 1993, this rollicking new carol is less than 2-minutes duration and easy for all to learn and enjoy.
