A soulful musical prayer for peace based on a Ukrainian folk tune for three-part women’s voices
Soprano 1, Soprano 2 and Alto a capella women’s choir
Written in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Peace Prayer, is set to a well-known Ukrainian folk song with new words and harmonies for a capella women’s choir. This prayer brings out the pain and poignant losses in this conflict with music that offers prayers for a dove of peace to be sent to the Ukrainians enduring this devastating carnage. Peace Prayer is designed for use in vigils, peace events and in worship.
